Dua karakter ini salah satu yang menyemarakkan muppet show. They’re bitchy yet overtly hilarious. They go under the name of Statler and Waldorf (yang kiri waldorf n yang kanan statler). And they reside in Balcony (bukan, bukan Embassy Balcony, but I wouldnt mind sih kalau tiba-tiba ada mereka standing there and making fun of people in that dance the lower floor).

Statler and Waldorf ini adalah 2 kakek-kakek yang kerjanya marah-marah n insulting the muppet crew, terutama Fozzie (that poor bear). Tapi walau selalu complain and being a total bicth, they would always be back the following week in the best seats in the house (ya duduk di balcony lah).

Statler and Waldorf ternyata dikasih nama yang sama dengan 2 New York City hotels, the Statler Hotel and the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.  Statler and Waldorf ini diperankan oleh  Jerry Nelson and Jim Henson. And silahkan, have fun with the bitchiness of Statler and Waldorf. OUCH!!!! Hehe tapi pasang kuping ya, soalnya namanya juga kakek kakek kadang suka susah ngikutin apa yang diomongin

Ini beberapa bithciness si kakek (kalau kebetulan, ga bisa ngedenger jelas mereka ngomong apa yah)

01. W: Just when you think their show is terrible, something wonderful happens.
S: What?
W: It ends

02. W: Pay up. They made it through another one.
S: Double or nothing next week’s show?
W: You’re on!

03. W: How long are we here for?
S: 20 years.
W: If I had known that judge was going to give us the box I would have asked for the chair.

04. S: I loved it!
W: So what? You loved World War 2

05. S: i liked that last number.
W: what’d you like about it?
S: it was the last number.

I gotta say, i give a standing ovation to Jim Henson. Because i love Muppet Show, more than i love Sesame Street and Disney Cartoon. Back then when i was still 4 years old, i would just glued myself infront of the telly, ga peduli si ibu teriak-teriak nyuruh makan or mandi. Pokoknya harus kelar dulu nonton si muppet show.

And when i was a little bit old and when the show is no longer airing on TVRI, I still have them. Thanks to my grandpa home video. Ada satu koper penuh, i wonder kemana ya koper itu. Full of muppet show recording…oh i wish i take them when m grandpa passed away.

This is the journey trough a memory lane. Jaman itu gue bisa seneng banget, berenti nangis, dan asli cuma bengong depan tv kalo denger soundtracknya berkumandang. Yang ini tambah keren karena ada C3PO and R2D2 waaaaaaaaaaa

Hai hai…kembali lagi bersama karaoke machine.
Kali ini, ga ada teks untuk karaokean yah. Ini saatnya untuk just enjoy the beat. Gue nemu pria satu ini ketika browsing (halah ga ada kerjaan, kerjaannya kok browsing doang). Anyway…this guy found a way to make beatbox more interesting, he use his flute!

Whose the guy? Sebenarnya gue juga ga kenal. But I think the name is Greg Pattilo. Nampaknya ia cukup terkenal, Pattillo ini nyampurin musik classical, jazz dan hip-hop. Ia juga punya kolaborasi musik bareng beberapa orang dalam PROJECT,  Peter Seymour (bass) dan Eric Stephenson (cello). Kalau penasaran cek aja di  whatisproject.org. PATTILLOSTYLE  rhythm and beatboxing flute is actually good. Ga salah kalau dia dengan PDnya mengumumkan gaya flutenya jadi: PATTILLOSTYLE!

Sewaktu gue ngebaca artikel ini gue pikir lagi ngomongin soal penyakit gendang telinga. But wait that’s THT. yang ini UHT (beda di huruf awalan U). Nah apa bedanya UHT dan THT? Walau U dan T kalau dalam huruf bersebelahan, ternyata kalau digabung dengan huruh H dan T lainnya punya arti yang beda banget.

Ultra High Temperature (UHT) itu adalah teknologi yang dipakai sama para pengemas minuman.  Ultra High Temperature (UHT) adalah sebuah proses strelisasi bahan makanan atau minuman dengan temperatur tinggi, yaitu di suhu 135-140celcius. Yang bikin gue hampir ga percaya adalah ternyata makanan yang mengalami proses UHT ini baik-baik saja dalam hal zat gizi, warna, rasa dan aroma makanan.

Salah satunya ini, jus buah fave gue. Hehehehe walau udah dipanasin 140 derajat masi enak.
